The General Assembly of Youth Express Network took place in Timisoara, Romania on April 28th. The reports from the Bureau and the Office were presented and the new board members were elected. Y-E-N has a new member organization: Nevo Parudimos, from Romania! The President of European Youth Forum Peter Matjašič was present.
The next international activity of the Youth Express Network is the seminar “Jump In” that will take place in Romania from 23-27th April 2012. The seminar, designed for 39 young people and youth workers and social workers from 15 different countries, will focus on the added value of volunteering; identifying key competencies developed in volunteer work and how theses competencies can be transferred to improve young people's employability.
Y-E-N was represented at the evaluation meeting of the Enter! project of the Council of Europe. It took place in European Youth Centre Strasbourg from April 2-4 2012.
Enter! is a three - year project (2009 - 2012) developed by the Directorate of Youth and Sport of the Council of Europe and it is part of the work priority on social cohesion and inclusion of young people.
